Before we get into the details of the interview process at NewLimit, take some time to learn about NewLimit, our team, and the NewLimit Operating Plan for Candidates.

Overview of the Interview Process

For most roles, we engage in a standard interview process involving a preliminary screen followed by an on-site interview.

You will be asked technical and behavioral-based questions throughout the interview process. If you are interviewing for a scientific role, you will also be asked to present a seminar on your previous work.

NewLimit is a data-driven company, and your answers should provide metrics or data if applicable. Reference recent situations whenever possible.

STAR interview strategy

We employ the STAR — Situation, Task, Action, and Results — interview strategy to learn about your work. Our goal in this process is to develop a detailed understanding of the problems you’ve faced and your actions to solve them. It’s helpful to keep this format in mind during our conversations so that you know what we’re looking for.
